Carnarvon Energy’s core exploration portfolio offshore Western Australia contains more than 100 prospects, providing plenty of running room in the emerging Bedout sub-basin.
The top 20 prospects across Carnarvon’s four exploration permits in the Bedout sub-basin have been estimated to hold a combined 1.5 billion barrels of oil equivalent in mean gross prospective resources.
Carnarvon’s footprint covers the majority of the basin and roughly 70% of the Company’s permits are covered by modern 3D seismic data.
Given Carnarvon’s historic success rate in the basin of nearly 70%, the Company is confident of adding to its already extensive resource base with future drilling.
